Well, this, and a multitude of other fabulous St. Patrick’s Day recipes that areĀ just minutes away… You’ll find them at the end of this post! š
Remember when I told you that today’s post was sure to be EPIC?! Now you know why! A bunch of blogger friends and I have come together to create a virtual St. Patty’s Day Extravaganza! How ’bout that?
Directly following our Valentine’s Day Event, Lynn, from The Road To Honey,Ā reached out and asked if we’d like to join forces once again. I responded as quickly as I could with a resounding YES! These round ups are always so mirthful and scrumptious!
Speaking of mirthful and scrumptious…
Chocolate Stout No-Churn Ice Cream?
Are you kidding me?
Have you ever tried stout aka beer in your ice cream?
I realize at first thought you might be thinking, “Ummmm, no. Nope. No thank you, Annie.”
But this. Oh man you guys…
Let’s see, how do I describe it? It’s kind of like lifting a stone to discoverĀ a gorgeous new color and having to describe what you see. Difficult, right?
…I will do my best…
ItĀ is creamy and cold (of course it is, it’s ice cream), however, there are warming undertones of dark chocolate and coffee flavors.
Warming undertones of dark chocolate and coffee.
- Undertones.
- Dark chocolate.
- Coffee.
Warming undertones in something that is creamy and cold is quite the sensory experience.
How’d I do?
And with the addition of Homemade Butter Toffee crumble…well, I just might be at a loss for words, again.
But, not for long…
This dessert will finish any meal on St. Patrick’s Day in fine fine fashion!
My friends and I haveĀ given you a week to plan your party and gather your supplies for what I’mĀ sure willĀ be a sensational celebration! #saintpatricksdayfeast2017

This sounds too easy. Looks creamy. But no ice cream maker? I LOVE the idea of beer in ice cream. Sounds so easy I might have to try this even though I’m trying to wean myself of ice cream and sugar in general. This one might be worth breaking my vows though. Cheers!
Annie says

Lynn | The Road to Honey says
Woah Annie. How did you know that I totally have been craving Ice Cream? And while I’m totally not a beer drinker, I’m 100% on board for this beauty. It looks so creamy and dreamy. And that toffee on top. . .well. . .I’d use that as the spoon to shovel the whole bowl (and your bowl too) into my mouth. I know that would be rude of me. . .but I just don’t care when something this heavenly is at stake. ?
Annie says
Not rude at all! There are some moments in life when we must throw caution to the wind and say what the heck! This is one of those moments! Thanks, dear! And thanks again for organizing!! š
Tamara Andersen says
Oh Annie! This looks absolutely scrumptious! One of my favorite summer treats is a Young’s Double Chocolate Stout float… I’ve never had ice cream with beer incorporated into the mix, although I frequently include other alcohol. I can just imagine how complex and delicious the ice cream is. Garnished with brittle, I’d be swooning… Love it! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Annie says
Thank you so much, Tamara! It is true that the flavor is complex! I think it will surprise a lot of people! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Medha says
This stout in this sounds so so good and also whoa! Loving the homemade toffee crumble- I could just eat that with a spoon plain š
Annie says
Separate or together – they’re both so good! Thanks, Medha!!
Ruby & Cake says
Oh my booze this sounds delish! I don’t drink beer but my boyfriend has half a fridge full – some may go missing to try and replicate this!
Annie says
Beer in your ice cream is altogether different from having a sip or two. I think you’ll love it! Boyfriend might, too! š
Rachelle @ Beer Girl Cooks says
Girl, you know I 100% support beer in ice cream and no-churn is always the way to go! That toffee is the perfect topping and looks amazing!
Annie says
Now why does that not surprise me? š So happy you approve!! Thanks, dear!
