I’ve been racking my brain trying to come up with a special cocktail to mark the occasion of the 86th Annual Academy Awards so that it match the extravagant beauty and grandeur of the event, while still conveying a wink of humor, as a nod to this year’s host.
I believe I have found it!
The Toasted Marshmallow Martini.
It’s not the kind of drink you have everyday, and as a matter of fact, we’ve only had it one time. But it’s a beverage worth revisiting.
It’s fancy without being stuffy, and fun without being frivolous.
It’s also a perfect drink for those of you who loved Frozen…
And speaking of movies…
This is the moment I know you’ve all been waiting for…
Ciao Chow Bambina’s predictions for the 2014 Academy Awards…
12 Years A Slave for Best Movie, Chiotel Ejiofor for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Cate Blanchett for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Lupita Nyong’o for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and Barkhad Abdi for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
What do you think? Agree? Disagree? I’d like to know!
So there you have it… toasted marshmallows and satin dresses! That’s my kind of my night!
Hooray for Hollywood!
Salute!
Ciao!

Love it!!! That should have been my title! Thanks, Sweeta! 🙂
