I’ve had the idea to post on Sundays for quite some time. Not with an original recipe from Ciao Chow Bambina, but with a small collection of articles, short videos, and/or recipes from other bloggers that make me happy, make me think, make me hungry and raise me up.
Whenever I stumble upon inspiring bits of news that I like to ‘chew on’ ~Soul Snacks~ if you will, I pass them along to my family… I think it’s time to admit that my kids have been inundated enough. I imagine their inbox is overflowing with as many soul snacks as three stomachs can handle. So what I’ve decided to do is inundate you! Hahahhah! Just kidding… Not kidding… Just on Sundays… How’s that?
I hope these soul stirring snacks fill you up as much as they fill me!
Happy Sunday, my friends!
Ever wonder where caffeine comes from? Have you imagined that it’s slowly and quietly driven by the energy of sunlight, formed inside coffee beans hanging on thousands of trees on a quiet hillside somewhere in the tropics? I love thinking about its journey from quiet treetops to our early morning cup of coffee.
Breakfast in bed? I say yes! It is Sunday after all…
If he had only one wish, it would be to travel unrecognized to a pizzeria and have a slice — or two or three. He loves Argentinian empanadas and dulce de leche… As it turns out, Pope Francis loves comfort food as much as the next person and soon we’ll get to know more about the food he enjoys as The Vatican Cookbook will soon be released. The book offers a tour of life and food in the world’s smallest country as told by members of the Pontifical Swiss Guard. Looking forward to that tour!
Meant to be savored, not checked off a bucket list…
Like Socrates, I know nothing at all…
Ever wondered how to read 100 books in a year? Let’s go!
Such gratitude for the existence of this book…
I am all about color, and the counselor in me doesn’t see life as black or white but the whole lotta gray in the middle, however, sometimes, sometimes things are just best in black & white.
We started with coffee…let’s end with a cocktail! It is the Oscar’s after all!
CIAO!
